This project aims to establish landscape continuity with the green belt of the Moulinette stream. A biodiversity loop which will be a link between the city centre, the landscape, the agricultural areas and the sports and school facilities area of Périgny. Biodiversity will be maximized with this new urban axis, ensuring significant greening of public spaces in continuity with the larger landscape and prioritizing soft and shared mobilities.
The landscaped corridor will be the structuring axis of the district, participating in the creation of spaces which reinforce the social and civic dimension in the relationships between residents. It will be a beating point whose impact will be found on the territorial scale. We propose to move from an urban model of individual sprawl to a sustainable urban model based on solidarity, collective quality of life and living well together. From quantitative planning to a qualitative approach which allows nature to be introduced into our daily lives.
We worked the different buildings’ templates based on the same principles: natural light and ventilation. Templates based on optimal sunshine for all plots. To do so, the relationship between the different volumes has been and will be the subject of in-depth studies in order to guarantee overall coherence, orient the views, offer the accomodations generous private spaces as well as qualitative common spaces, while avoiding monotony and repetition of architectural forms. The volumes proposed for the houses allow different appropriations of the spaces and the identities of the neighbourhood.
